Joffrey Sarmadi is a lawyer admitted to List II of the Luxembourg Bar. He was sworn in September 2024 and joined Woud Law in May 2025.

He holds a Master’s degree in Business Law from the University of Lorraine, having completed a Master 1 in Business Law followed by a Master 2 in Cross-Border Business Law. During his Master 1, he also attended an academic program at Kent College of Law in Chicago, specializing in International and Transnational Law, which allowed him to develop a strong comparative and international legal perspective.

Building on prior experience in compliance and litigation, he has specialized in business law and primarily advises on corporate and financial law matters, including corporate transactions, private equity, fundraising and debt financing, in both domestic and international contexts.
